Technoaid is a non-profit, public foundation organized under Kenya Non-Government Coordination Act of 1990. We make small grants (upto Ksh 150,000) to youth led or women empowering organizations in Kenya working to find entrepreneurial solutions to social problems in their communities.
Set up in 1999, Technoaid was founded to supports local community development initiatives through grant making.
Technoaid has given charity status in 2001.
By 2015 the Organization had made over 18 grants to projects in Kenya. These grants represent the diversity of youth and women’s lives countrywide and support the creativity which with youth and women fight the inequalities they face.
